Anyway I started out the Mystery a little over zealous and ended up cutting too many strips and making too many 4 patches for step 1. Now what do I do with the extras? Well, I guess I will make two of these Mysteries. Hopefully I won't regret this...
So here is the fabric for the two mysteries.
I have 384 4-patches done!
And I am working on the 256 flying geese. I am done with enough for the first quilt and onto the second.
I will post that when they are all done.
I will post that when they are all done.
Nice looking blog. How hard was it to do?
ReplyDeleteIt is actually pretty easy. Templates are all set up for you and you just need to pick which one and then post something.
DeleteLOL and holy cow that is a lot of cutting! Your fabric choices for each quilt are lovely.
ReplyDeleteTWO quilts .....!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your fabrics! I am tired after cutting for one. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteGood luck - after I finished step one...I had too many 'ideas' for more...so I cut another...and then another...if step 2 had come first....that wouldn't have happened...LOL. But I'm lovin it...and LOVE your fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI did the very same thing. I cut and cut for 4 patches, never mind counting. Aren't we using up fabric? I have exactly the same amount of 4 patches done, and am short about 30 flying geese for the second quilt. My goal is not to buy any fabric, although, I did have to buy 3/4 yard of black on white, and may have to buy more to keep it scrappy enough. Can't wait for todays clue.
